The Property Evidence Division is charged with maintaining the integrity and chain of custody of property and evidence submitted by Portland, Portland State University, and Oregon Health Sciences University Police Officers. This requires the safeguarding of narcotics, currency, and firearms as well as other property and evidence to include vehicles, hazardous materials, and sensitive items. The program adheres to the standards set by the International Association for Property and Evidence. 701
