Personnel Division members recruit diverse applicants, provide information and support to applicants, conduct background investigations, facilitate hiring, and ensure that proper Human Resources practices are utilized throughout the hiring process and daily management of Bureau staff. The Personnel Division also manages employees on administrative leave and facilitates separation from the Bureau. The division strives to reach and maintain authorized staffing and to increase the diversity of the Bureau. The program manager and Business Partners assist the bureau with compliance with city, state, and federal Human Resources laws, hiring and promotion process requirements, represented employee contracts, and all other Human Resources related topics. 695
