June 11, 2025 • Committing to disaggregating ALL Vision Zero data collected and analyzed by race and ethnicity (when available), as well as location within Equity Matrix Zones, not simply at an overall level, but for all data points tracked and reported • Committing to use the Equity Matrix as a component of decision making for new investments – enhancing our ability to understand if our reduction efforts are improving the disparities experienced in traffic violence by race and ethnicity (when available) 2. Prepare to conduct a participatory process to update the current Vision Zero Action Plan including identifying resources needed in the FY27 budget. Koyama Lane 06 – Motion to Add a Budget Note to Support Vision Zero Programming (Amended on Dais - Vote Passed) Motion to Amend Attachment D and add a budget note regarding PBOT’s Vision Zero program, as follows: Direct Public Works Service Area, Public Safety Service Area, and Community and Economic Development Service Area to collaboratively create a funding and staffing plan for the administration work of a Vision Zero Task Force / Vision Zero Citywide Team and report back to Council by September January 15, 20265. Koyama Lane 07 – Motion to Add Funding to Summerworks, NextGen, Film and Events, and Large Event Stability (Brought on Dais - Vote Passed) • Motion to fund $300,000 to Summerworks Youth Employment Initiative, $200,000 for NextGen Youth Services, $450,000 to the Film and Events Office, and $50,000 to the Large Event Stability grant program by decreasing funding within the Strategic Investment Fund in Prosper Portland. • Update Attachments A-H as needed to reflect this change.
